Hi there, Reader, In the midst of the bleakness that has kicked off 2025, I'm especially grateful to have some genuinely good news to share. HOMEWRECKER, a darkly compelling feature film I'm really proud to be in, will have its World Premiere at the prestigious Cinequest Film Festival in San José this month. Having this creative work recognized feels like a bright spot worth celebrating right now. 🎉🥳 The ScreeningsFirst Screening (I'll be there!): Second Screening: If you know the way to San José (🎶), I'd love to see you there on March 16th. Getting to share this work with you would mean everything. Hugs will be given freely! About the FilmHOMEWRECKER tells the story of Megan, a twenty-something Angeleno whose dream of buying her first home crumbles when her stepdad Tom gets entangled in legal trouble, diverting her funds. Desperate, Megan and her boyfriend resort to increasingly risky methods to break up her mom and Tom, ultimately facing the moral consequences of their choices. The film is VERY timely, and honestly, projects like this are what keep me going as an actor. Between the brutal havoc that COVID wreaked, devastating strikes, shrinking opportunities, slashes to our pay scales, and now most recently the fires 💔 – it's been a grueling few years in this industry. But when I get to be part of something raw and real like HOMEWRECKER, I'm reminded why I want to act. This is the work that matters to me. The Team:Cast: Reilly Anspaugh, Daniel Rashid, Bradley Snedeker, Adria Tennor (that's me!), Jorji Diaz Fadel, Manny Spero Able to join us? Grab your tickets here and support indie film:
Psst! 🤫 Can't make it to San José? Stay tuned for deets on a virtual screening later in the year! 📺 Here's to making art that matters, even when everything feels impossible, Adria And for those of you who've been asking about my recent digital refresh... ✨ I'm partnering with one of my mentors, a pretty fantastic creative entrepreneur later this month. She has completely changed how I think about earning a living to compliment my creative endeavors with flexibility. If you're curious about this, I'll be sharing more soon! |
