Hi Reader, I wanted to reach out real quick because I’m opening a very small ongoing actor lab starting in June called: As an actor, this is the class I've always wanted to take. As a teacher it's a dream come true to be creating it, and to be creating the space for actors to get coaching and insider guidance on both their craft AND their career. This is not a giant “watch me lecture” class. It’s a small working lab for actors who want ongoing support with everything it takes to actually build a career in this business. Because we don’t just need terrific insight on acting and notes on what it takes to be great and employable. We need: That’s the room I'm building. ✨ WHAT WE’LL WORK ON: This group is intentionally tiny. Only 4 spots. Which means: (And at this time there are only 2 spots left ✌🏼) HERE ARE THE DETAILS: 📍 Tuesdays How it works:
(Please note: Craft + Career Lab has a 3-month minimum commitment so we have enough time to build meaningful momentum and continuity together. After that, membership continues month-to-month with 30 days notice to pause or cancel.) Hot Off My Brain 🧠 & Other Good 💩: A Curated List of Stuff I'm Lovin' Some of these links are affiliate — I'll always flag them with a 💸 so you know. I will only ever share stuff I truly love and actually use. Your trust is worth way more to me than a few ill-gotten shekels. I swear. ✋🏼 🎟️ What I've got tickets for — I just got tickets to see Primary Trust at the Mark Taper Forum because my longtime pal James Urbaniak is in it. A Pulitzer Prize-winning play about friendship, loneliness, reinvention, and finding the courage to re-enter life after it cracks open. Catnip for me. I’ll report back after I see it. 👀 🥤 What I’m drinking — I have become attached to Sanzo sparkling water variety pack. I am a person who wants a “little treat” ALL THE TIME and these somehow scratch the itch without making me feel like I licked a carnival prize. The lychee and yuzu flavors especially feel like the glamorous older cousin of LaCroix who drinks natural wine, disappears to Tokyo for a week, and comes back hotter somehow. 💸 📍 What's newly on my radar — I recently connected with VO business coach Paul Schmidt and really liked his approach to the business side of voiceover. What struck me most is that he doesn’t just teach “how to perform.” He teaches voice actors how to think and act like business owners - marketing, relationships, rates, outreach, mindset, and getting comfortable hearing “no” so you can get to the "yes." I've joined his community and I have a feeling his ideology applies to more than just VO acting. Stay tuned. Adria P.S. Know an actor who'd thrive in the Craft + Career Lab?
